Born in Miami, Florida, Dr. Steven Perelmuter was also educated in Florida at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He attended both dental school and his periodontics residency at the University of Florida, graduating in 1991. Prior to this, he attended Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, where he earned a bachelor’s degree before beginning his dental education. Dr. Perelmuter first joined the dental community as part of the private practice sector, and eventually moved on to in-house specializing. He is currently an in-house specialist at Greenberg Dental. Dr. Perelmuter has been a community-level volunteer with local charities, and he is also an active ADA and FDA member. In addition to his busy dental career, he makes time for his family and hobbies. He is a father of three, and enjoys swimming in his spare time. He also enjoys college football, both watching games on television and attending them in person.
